We run a blood test before administering anaesthetic to make sure your pet can properly process and eliminate the anaesthetic drugs. This test can assess if the major organs are functioning correctly and can help in diagnosing any hidden health issues that could put your pet in harm’s way.
More complicated surgeries like orthopaedics are carried out within our sterile theatre suite. In doing this, we can reduce the risk of infection and other factors that might prevent the surgery from producing the desired outcome.
We undertake most surgical procedures that can be conducted by Vets in General Practice. We perform the surgery either in our treatment room or our sterile theatre, depending on how advanced the procedure is.
